Case Study · Austin, TX · May 2025
One evening. Twenty-five guests. Over $100,000 raised.
Livestrong had a powerful mission — transforming the future for cancer survivors at a time when access to care is shrinking — but needed a way to connect directly with high-net-worth individuals who could become meaningful donors, not just one-time checkbook signers.
Traditional fundraising galas are expensive, impersonal, and crowded. Livestrong CEO Suzanne Stone wanted something different: a room of real people who would actually listen, ask questions, and walk away moved.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Astronomic organized an intimate charity dinner at a private home in Westlake, Austin — hosted by Rianna Alberty. Twenty-five vetted guests joined Suzanne Stone for an evening of candid conversation, dinner, and connection.
Guests were personally curated: investors, company founders, CEOs, and community leaders who shared a genuine interest in health, access to care, and impact philanthropy. No cold invitations. No ticket sales. Every seat was earned.
The dinner format works because it removes the transactional feeling. People give because they're moved — not because they bought a table.

The Livestrong dinner raised over $100,000 — far more than the cost of producing the event. More importantly, it created a network of ongoing supporters who left the evening with a personal connection to Livestrong's mission and to Suzanne Stone herself.
The ROI wasn't just financial. Several guests became recurring donors. Others made introductions to their own networks. The dinner became the beginning of a relationship, not the end of a transaction.
